That was a shinai, coming at your head from the Left Coast. (In a kind and harmonious way, of course.) You&#039;ll never get the number/name/email if you don&#039;t ask for it. 

One way to ask that might be a little less scary, though: ask if you can give her *your* number. If she&#039;s interested, she&#039;ll volunteer hers at this point.</description>
