I addressed this in the fourth and fifth paragraphs: the market will, as responsible parents will pull students from schools that are not meeting their children's needs.

Who determines whether it's a good school or not? Is this resolution determined through "standardized" testing scores or is it a majority vote? I ask this because I live in a town where the school is theoretically a "good" school, however, I personally feel it's curricula is undesirable. Would I still get to choose a school I felt resonated with my personal feelings or does the choice only apply if the town school is going to be "shut down?"

I'm just curious in understanding the implications of school choice, because I currently homeschool as it would have cost me a small fortune to put my child in a different public school, a school of my choosing.
