I was going to get mine through apple, but they just hem and haw and tell me everything should be fine if I get it through them but need my "monolith 2000" employee discount for the monthly plan applied, but still tell me to deal with AT&T for that (which makes sense).

So I think I'm probably going to just get it at AT&T. Who, according to you, won't allow pre-orders. But the AT&T blogger guy had a video that I watched yesterday that claimed that AT&T *will* take pre-orders. Do these guys ever get it straight?
