		<description>I went through a few spells of hard drive failures over the years.  A few years ago, I had three in 6 months, and just a couple of years ago, I had two in the same week die.  It happens - the worst time for hard drives dying is when they are brand new (something was wrong already) or after a year. I had bad luck with WD drives but also with some IBM&#039;s more recently.</description>
